Get ready for a night of cards, camaraderie, and chips at the EAM Dads Night Poker Tournament & Game Watch, where you can bet on making new connections with fellow dads in the community! When: Get the party started at the Guaranteed Rate space in downtown Elmhurst starting at 7 PM. The Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament deals in at 7:30 PM. We've got you covered with pizza and snacks, but it's a BYOB affair, so bring your favorite munchies and drinks to share! A bartender will be on-site to keep everyone's cups refreshed. Event fee: $25 per person, paid via Venmo to Meghan Kastenholz (@mkastenholz8 -- last four digits 7614). This gets you chips to dive into the game and ensures we keep the snacks coming. Here's the deal, though: once your chips are out, you're out! No additional buy-ins, just high stakes and high spirits. ***For those who'd rather spectate only and hang out, please send in $10 instead.*** The top two poker tournament winners will walk away with prizes from local Elmhurst spots! The rest of the event proceeds will go towards the 7th Annual Elmhurst Homeless Student Drive, in partnership with the Elmhurst Wellness Team, which provides support to local D205 students experiencing hardship and homelessness. So, when you play, you're also winning for a great cause! To ensure you have a seat at the table, RSVP on this event page with the name of the person attending in the comments section. Then, submit your fee to Meghan with "EAM Poker Night" in the description by Tuesday, November 5th. This not only secures your spot but also helps us ensure an accurate headcount. So grab your poker face, put on your lucky socks, and shuffle on over to the EAM Dads Night Poker Tournament & Game Watch (we'll have whichever games are on that night on the screens around the bar #GoSports! ). It's going to be a Texas-sized night of fun and games. See you there, and may the best poker dad win!
