Join us on a scavenger hunt! We will meet in the southeast parking lot and walk around the mile loop searching for spring time items like new blooms, birds nests, etc. RSVP and comment with the number of kids you are bringing we we can have supplies ready. Thanks!
Meet other parents and caregivers of newborns as we share rhymes, read a story, and play together. Tickets available starting at 9 a.m. the morning of the program.
Lets meet up at Art in the Park! Bring the whole family, strollers and wagons for a morning of fun activities! Our group will meet at the playground at 10AM! Explore over 130 booths showcasing unique, handcrafted treasures including jewelry, paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography, and fiber arts created by talented Midwest artists. Enjoy a variety of artisan food vendors alongside community partner and sponsor displays, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Wilder Park. Families will love the interactive Kids Court, a dedicated space filled with engaging, hands-on activities. Participate in our free scavenger hunt and win fun prizes.

Drop-in storytime for families with children of all ages Bring a blanket or chair and celebrate Lilac Time in Lilacia Park with stories and songs. Storytime will be held on the west side of the park under the Picnic Shelter. In the event of inclement weather, storytimes will be at the Library. Check helenplum.org for the most up-to-date program information.
Let's meet at the Elmhurst Public Library in the Large Meeting Room for Little Wigglers Storytime! Move and groove to active rhymes, songs and stories guaranteed to get the wiggles out. Best for ages 1-5. Tickets available beginning at 9am the morning of the program. EPL card required.
Join us for a fun, environmentally friendly activity on Saturday, May 17th at SCARCE Headquarters in Addison, IL. Moms and children will work together to sort, pack, and peel crayons for local teachers and families in need. Any broken or peeled crayons will be sorted, then melted down and transformed into "super crayons"— large, special shaped crayons that are donated to local children’s hospitals and pediatric clinics. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying a hands-on, family-friendly activity! Light refreshments will be provided.
Take some time to relax and reset at CorePower Yoga for a special candlelight class for EAM members! There is a 40 person limit for this event. Please write your name in the comment section; a waitlist will be started if we exceed 40 people. Cost for class is $10/person, paid in cash or Venmo upon arrival at the studio. Towels, mats, and water are available for purchase or you can bring your own! *Class will be low heat, approx. 75-80 degrees*
Join us for our Summer Clothing Swap! Bring your gently used women’s spring/summer clothing, shoes, and accessories and “shop” the closets of your friends and fellow EAM members while enjoying light bites and refreshments. It’s a fun, free, and eco-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe for the changing seasons! **Recommended but not required to bring items to participate. **Please try to limit contributions to 15 items at maximum — quality over quantity! These should be items that are in good condition but maybe you find you don't wear them anymore. **Any remaining items will be donated to a local charity. **Maternity clothes are welcome! Please plan to drop off your items at Kelley P's house (300 W Wintrop Ave) or Katie H's house (606 S. Hillcrest Ave) before May 18th to give us time to organize sizes/styles beforehand. A drop-off box will be on the porches starting May 12th.

Should we exceed 40 people, we will start a waitlist.*Parking is tight, so they recommend parking by Smalley Pool and walking over. *They also ask to refrain from eating while on the tour.
Lace up your running shoes and join the inaugural Dan Gibbons Twilight Trot. Our group will meet at 6:15PM at the corner of Arlington and May Street near the start line. Families are welcome! The Dan Gibbons Twilight Trot was founded on the premise that hunger and basic human needs are not just issues that should be dealt with during the holiday season. The annual Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot has been serving the hungry in DuPage County for over 41 years. Te goal for the Dan Gibbons Twilight Trot is to help them with a check in June, halfway to our normal December distribution.
