Meet us in the Kossman room at the Library for our first social seminar of the New Year! Brittany Parenti (LCSW) will summarize important points from How to Talk so Little Kids Will Listen- a great book about ways to engage with your toddler mid-tantrum and help them, as well as yourself, manage big feelings.
Help EAM spread some love and cheer on Valentine’s Day! EAM will be partnering with Elmhurst Art Museum to create cards for the senior residents at Park Place in Elmhurst. Valentines snacks and beverages will be provided. Children can stay and play after cards are created. Please park on street or EAM member Katie Hutz's driveway. This event is limited to 10 children. When RSVPing, please note number of children who will be attending. Should we exceed 10, a waitlist will be started.

Love is in the air at Cocktails for a Cause: A Night Out Benefitting Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network! Saturday, February 10th from 8-11 PM Venue: Primos Locos in Downtown Elmhurst (122 S York St) Elmhurst Area Moms invites you to enjoy an evening of philanthropy and fun as we come together to support Elmhurst Walk-In Assistance Network (EWAN)! Tickets are $50 per person for EAM members ($100 per couple)* and include two drink tickets, light bites, sweet treats, plus a silent auction with incredible prizes from local businesses. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting EWAN's incredible mission. Since 1997, EWAN has provided compassionate assistance to individuals and families in the Elmhurst community facing challenging times. Families and individuals may find themselves in distress due to unforeseen circumstances that make it difficult for them to meet their basic needs.
