3rd Annual Witches Ride

Experience a Halloween tradition like no other! Join our community in the enchanting witches ride, where kiddos line the streets, eagerly awaiting the sight of witches soaring by, casting candy spells for all to catch and enjoy Elmhurst Witches, 21 and older, are invited to join the 3rd annual Elmhurst Witches Ride on Saturday, October 5th. We’ll meet in the parking lot of Berkshire Hathaway Prairie Path Realtors on Spring Rd at 3:30PM. The ride begins promptly at 4PM where the witches will ride through south/central Elmhurst while we toss candy to kids in the neighborhood along the route. Candy will be provided by Tom Muisenga with Berkshire Hathaway Prairie Path Realtors. We will end our route with some witches brew at Doc’s on Spring Rd.   Plan to bike for about 45 minutes. Get as creative and festive as you’d like. Dressing up and/or decorating your broom (bike) isn't necessary but highly encouraged! Please share this and invite any other Elmhurst moms or ladies - the more the merrier. In addition to it being a fun night of meeting new friends, this a charitable event to help those in need in our community. Enjoy delightful small bites and refreshing drinks while mingling with fellow moms and learning about local initiatives impacting Elmhurst. As part of our gathering, we will hear from Jim Rogers, Executive Director of the Elmhurst Park District. Jim will share important details about the park district referendum that will be included on the November ballot (https://www.epd.org/referendum). This is a great opportunity to gain valuable insights and ask questions so members can make an informed decision when voting this fall. Additionally, there will be resources on site to help you register to vote if you haven't already. Let’s come together to connect, learn, and make a difference in our community! This will notify your host, Tianna, who will grant you entry.Head Towards the Hallway: Once inside, proceed down the hallway where you’ll find the elevator.Take the Elevator to the 7th Floor: Ride the elevator up to the 7th floor.Find the Clubhouse: The clubhouse will be located on your right-hand side.

Join us for Mom's Night Out at Riley's! Enjoy drinks, bar bites, and a sportier vibe this month. Please comment your name after you RSVP. We have a 20 person cap and a waitlist will be started if we exceed 20.

Preschool Open Gym at Wagner Community Center

Let's meet up for Open Gym! For ages 6 and under with an adult. Fee: $9 per visit (Can also purchase a 6 visit punch card for $45, or a 12 visit punch card for $90) This gymnastics facility is open for the youngest gymnasts to explore and have fun. Staff will be on hand to ensure safety and proper usage of the facility and equipment. Due to safety reasons, the age requirements will be strictly enforced. An adult parent/guardian must be present.
