Jump Town Meetup

Join for a morning of fun at Jump Town! Jump Town is a play center for children aged 0-12 years. Jump Town has created a kid-friendly indoor environment that is stimulating and enjoyable for your kids. They offer variety of inflatables, a soft play structure, giant blocks and much more. All activities are created and appointed based on safety requirements. Children’s admission is $13 each and two adults per child are free. Children and adults must wear socks at all times in play area with no exceptions . A signed waiver is required for each participant. First time guests need to sign our waiver either online or at the park. No outside food or drinks are allowed in the play area.

Fire Station Tour – South

This event will be limited to 30 guests (including both adults and children, babies do not count) so please comment below how many people will be in your party after RSVP'ing. Should we exceed 30 people, we will start a waitlist.*Parking is tight, so they recommend parking by Smalley Pool and walking over. *They also ask to refrain from eating while on the tour.

Location: Elmhurst Gymnastics Center in Wagner Community Center Fee: $9 per visit or can use open gym punch card This gymnastics facility is open for the youngest gymnasts to explore and have fun. Staff will be on hand to ensure safety and proper usage of the facility and equipment. Due to safety reasons, the age requirements will be strictly enforced. An adult parent/guardian must be present.

Dan Gibbons Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Race up your sneakers and join your fellow EAM members as we take part in this cherished Elmhurst tradition. EAM members will be meeting to run, walk, or cheer on the participants Thanksgiving morning in the 41 Annual Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot is a 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) fun-run enjoyed by thousands of runners, joggers, and walkers each year. The course is on 100% street and will begin at the intersection of Adell Place and Park Ave in Elmhurst. The gun will fire promptly at 9am, and the race will begin eastbound on Park Ave. Race participants must register at this link: https://dangibbonsturkeytrot.org/ Please use the comment section here to form meetup locations for walkers, runners, and cheering area. Friends and family are encouraged to join!

EAM and ENNC are joining together once again host a morning of family fun at York Theatre in downtown Elmhurst. Enjoy professional photos with Santa and Elsa, plus holiday movies, a dance party with School of Rock, donuts, hot cocoa, and a special craft. -Two professional photo opportunities! This year you will be able to take pictures with Santa or Elsa (or both!). They will be on stage in two different theaters, so plan accordingly and please arrive in time for your chosen slot- our photographers will be taking pictures back to back and it will be a tight schedule. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please sign up ONE SLOT per family (unless you want to pay for two individual slots) -- the photographers will accommodate all your kiddos in each slot. EAM Holiday Party

Celebrate the holiday season with your local mom community! Join EAM on Thursday, December 12th for some holiday cheer. We will have light bites and drinks available (sign-up to bring some goodies to share below!), and our bartender will be making specialty cocktails to get us in the holiday spirit.  Wear something sparkly, festive, or your best ugly Christmas sweater!  Sign-up to bring something or help out with set up / clean up!https://www.signupgenius.com/.../10C0C4DAEA629A5FCC34... Those who want to can participate in a cookie exchange and a gift exchange.  Feel free to take part in one, all, or none! Details below. A $10 cover will help cover our bartending service and event cost.  Please submit payment by Dec 11 to Meghan Kastenholz via Venmo (@mkastenholz8) or Zelle (616-502-7614) with "EAM Holiday Party" in the comments. The party will be hosted at our sponsor space, John Noldan at Guaranteed Rate, in downtown Elmhurst. COOKIE EXCHANGE:  Bring at least 2 dozen of your favorite cookies/treats. At 8pm, participants can start building cookie platters from all of the wonderful contributions to take home (recommend bringing some kind of storage container/cookie tin)! Any extras can be shared with the party.  'FAVORITE THINGS' GIFT EXCHANGE:  Each participant brings one wrapped gift to contribute to a common pool. Gifts must be new and not used, between $20-25 in value, and one of your 'favorite things' from the past year. Please refrain from religiously-affiliated or kid-focused gifts. Participants will draw numbers to determine what order they will go in (lowest number starts). The first player selects a gift and opens it, and then following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player's gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen in this way can do the same - choose a new gift or steal another. Once a gift has been stolen three times, it is no longer in play. No trades allowed *during* the game, but what you do after is up to you!  **PLEASE NOTE** We will not be offering refunds on tickets purchased for this event if the attendee is no longer able to attend. The attendee will be responsible for finding another member to take their ticket or will forfeit the money spent for non-attendance. Thank you for understanding!
