Our resident yoga instructor, Missy Slavik, will be leading a vinyasa yoga class on the back patio of the new Zodiac Cafe in downtown Elmhurst. Breath, stretch and move with this 1-hour class and then stay to mingle and enjoy some of the food and drink offerings at the cafe  Bring your yoga mat, towel and water bottle This event will be limited to 20 members based on capacity at Zodiac Cafe. We’re kicking off our fall reading with The Mothers by Brit Bennett!  Join us at Emily’s house for an evening of connection, snacks, and book discussion as we dive into this thoughtful and beautifully written story.  The Mothers follows Nadia Turner, a rebellious teenager in a tight-knit Southern California church community, and explores friendship, love, secrets, and the choices that shape our lives. Told through the voices of the people who surround Nadia, the novel examines motherhood, faith, grief, and the lasting impact of the decisions we make when we’re young.  All are welcome, even if you haven't started or finished the book.

 Stroller Walk & Coffee Meetup  Join us for a refreshing morning stroll along the Prairie Path! We’ll meet at Elijah’s in Elmhurst to kick things off, then enjoy a casual walk together. Join us at FFC Elmhurst for a Pilates Mat class for EAM members only! We'll stretch and strengthen together and then all are welcome at the lounge bar after class to socialize and enjoy a cocktail! Come sip, swap, & socialize! Bring your gently used women’s fall/winter clothing, shoes, and accessories and “shop” the closets of your friends and fellow EAM members while enjoying light bites and refreshments. It’s a fun, free, and eco-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe for the changing seasons! This year, stylist and EAM member, Nora Bradbury, will be on site to provide styling recommendations and suggestions while you shop! We'll have light bites and refreshments for you to enjoy as you shop and get to know other local moms. **Recommended but not required to bring items to participate.**Please try to limit contributions to 15 items at maximum — quality over quantity! These should be items that are in good condition but maybe you find you don't wear them anymore.**Any remaining items will be donated to a local charity, People's Resource Center.**Maternity clothes are welcome! Please plan to drop off your items at Meghan's house (440 E East Ct) or Amanda's house (485 W 2nd St) by October 7th. A drop-off box will be on the porches starting September 29. Join us at Spark Scent Collective for a cozy candle making experience! The group will have an opportunity to explore the fragrance wall and create a custom blend to pour into a candle, diffuser, or a room and linen spray. The fragrance experience starts at $35/person. Please note that Spark is cashless and only accepts card/Apple Pay. This will be about an hour, and anyone is welcome to join us for drinks and food after! Attendees are responsible for the fragrance experiences and drinks, and EAM will provide light bites. Please email with an RSVP by October 12, so we can provide a final headcount.
