For Families (best for ages 1-5) Join us outdoors for stories, nursery rhymes, and music to keep little ones gleefully engaged. Bring a blanket to sit on. No registration. In case of inclement weather, outdoor storytimes will be moved indoors and ticketed. Indoor storytime tickets are available starting at 9 a.m. the morning of the program and require an EPL card.
End the summer on a high note! Join Elmhurst Park District in Berens Park from 4-8 pm for live music, kids activities, games, beer garden and more. Industrial Drive takes to the stage 4-5:30 pm and Nashville Electric Company performs 6-8 pm. Parking: At Berens Park's east and west parking lots. Parking will also be available at Wagner Community Center. It's playtime! Join us at Pioneer Park on Saturday, August 24 at 10 am for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Pioneer Park. The park was redesigned to maximize space and incorporate mature trees into the play area. New, unique features include a cubed, cozy imaginative play structure for 2-5 year-olds and a multilevel climber, the Tidal Wave, for older kids.
