Santa at the Cinema

Bring the whole family to 🎞️York Theatre on Saturday, December 9th for some holiday cheer! EAM and ENNC are joining together to host a morning of family fun at York Theatre in downtown Elmhurst. Enjoy professional photos with Santa Claus + Mrs. Clause, Elsa, plus movies, treats, and a special craft. There will be something for everyone! -Two professional photo opportunities! This year you will be able to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Clause or Elsa (or both!). They will be on stage in two different theaters, so plan accordingly and please arrive in time for your chosen slot- our photographers will be taking pictures back to back and it will be a tight schedule. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please sign up ONE SLOT per family (unless you want to pay for two individual slots) -- the photographers will accommodate all your kiddos in each slot. Celebrate the holiday season with your local mom community!🎄✨ Let’s gather on Thursday, December 14th for a party filled with holiday cheer. We will have light bites and drinks available (sign-up to bring some goodies to share below!), and our bartender will be making specialty cocktails to get us in the holiday spirit. 🥂 The party will be hosted at our sponsor space, John Noldan at Guaranteed Rate, in downtown Elmhurst. Those who want to can participate in a cookie exchange, ugly sweater contest, and a white elephant gift exchange. 🎁 Feel free to take part in one, all, or none! A $10 cover will help cover our bartending service and event cost. 💸 Please submit payment by Dec 13 to Meghan Kastenholz via Venmo (@mkastenholz8) or Zelle (616-502-7614) with "EAM Holiday Party" in the comments. Any extras can be shared with the party. 🍪 UGLY SWEATER CONTEST: Wear your most outrageous ugly sweater! Vote for your favorite by submitting the wearer’s name and we’ll announce a winner on our page the following day. 🏆 WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE: 🎁 Each participant brings one wrapped gift to contribute to a common pool. Gifts must be new and not used, between $20-25 in value. Please refrain from religiously-affiliated or kid-focused gifts. Participants will draw numbers to determine what order they will go in (lowest number starts). The first player selects a gift and opens it, and then following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player's gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen in this way can do the same - choose a new gift or steal another. Once a gift has been stolen three times, it is no longer in play. No trades allowed *during* the game, but what you do after is up to you! 🎁   **PLEASE NOTE** We will not be offering refunds on tickets purchased for this event if the attendee is no longer able to attend. The attendee will be responsible for finding another member to take their ticket or will forfeit the money spent for non-attendance. Thank you for understanding!

We will do this exchange white elephant style. Please bring one New or Gently Used book that you enjoyed wrapped up with a card taped to the front with three word or short phrase descriptors of the book (ex: Thriller, Sisters, Mistaken Identity). Also if anyone would like to contribute any snacks or treats to the party, please feel free to do so.
