EAM and ENNC are joining together once again host a morning of family fun at York Theatre in downtown Elmhurst. Enjoy professional photos with Santa and Elsa, plus holiday movies, a dance party with School of Rock, donuts, hot cocoa, and a special craft. -Two professional photo opportunities! This year you will be able to take pictures with Santa or Elsa (or both!). They will be on stage in two different theaters, so plan accordingly and please arrive in time for your chosen slot- our photographers will be taking pictures back to back and it will be a tight schedule. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please sign up ONE SLOT per family (unless you want to pay for two individual slots) -- the photographers will accommodate all your kiddos in each slot. Make a fun holiday craft to take home and have something special to take home and remember the event. Celebrate the holiday season with your local mom community! Join EAM on Thursday, December 12th for some holiday cheer. We will have light bites and drinks available (sign-up to bring some goodies to share below!), and our bartender will be making specialty cocktails to get us in the holiday spirit.  Wear something sparkly, festive, or your best ugly Christmas sweater!  Sign-up to bring something or help out with set up / clean up!https://www.signupgenius.com/.../10C0C4DAEA629A5FCC34... Those who want to can participate in a cookie exchange and a gift exchange.  Feel free to take part in one, all, or none! Details below. A $10 cover will help cover our bartending service and event cost.  Please submit payment by Dec 11 to Meghan Kastenholz via Venmo (@mkastenholz8) or Zelle (616-502-7614) with "EAM Holiday Party" in the comments. The party will be hosted at our sponsor space, John Noldan at Guaranteed Rate, in downtown Elmhurst. COOKIE EXCHANGE:  Bring at least 2 dozen of your favorite cookies/treats. At 8pm, participants can start building cookie platters from all of the wonderful contributions to take home (recommend bringing some kind of storage container/cookie tin)! Any extras can be shared with the party.  'FAVORITE THINGS' GIFT EXCHANGE:  Each participant brings one wrapped gift to contribute to a common pool. Gifts must be new and not used, between $20-25 in value, and one of your 'favorite things' from the past year. Please refrain from religiously-affiliated or kid-focused gifts. Participants will draw numbers to determine what order they will go in (lowest number starts). The first player selects a gift and opens it, and then following players can choose to either pick an unwrapped gift from the pool or steal a previous player's gift. Anyone who gets their gift stolen in this way can do the same - choose a new gift or steal another. Once a gift has been stolen three times, it is no longer in play. No trades allowed *during* the game, but what you do after is up to you!  **PLEASE NOTE** We will not be offering refunds on tickets purchased for this event if the attendee is no longer able to attend. The attendee will be responsible for finding another member to take their ticket or will forfeit the money spent for non-attendance. Thank you for understanding!

Let's meet up for a walk through Lombard Park District's annual holiday lights display in Lilicia Park. Charming holiday displays illuminate the park 4:30 – 10:00 pm daily with magical light shows, tree decorations, a gingerbread house, and so much more!

Join us at Vanessa Norton's house for our second annual Book Club Holiday Part and Book Exchange. Let's celebrate a year of reading and go home with a new book to enjoy over the holidays! We will do this exchange white elephant style. Please bring one New or Gently Used book that you enjoyed. Wrap it up with an index card taped to the front with three words or short phrase descriptors of the book (ex: Thriller, Sisters, Mistaken Identity). If anyone would like to contribute any snacks or treats to the party, please feel free to do so.
