Let's meet up to enjoy a summer night outside, let the kids run around, and enjoy music from Elmhurst School of Rock! All performances start at 6:30 pm. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of musical entertainment as the sun sets for the day! Please note that these events are on Elmhurst Park District property, so please refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages in the park, per Elmhurst Park District policy.
Summer Baby Brunch Moms with babies 2 and under are invited to EAM member Missy Slavik’s home for a cozy morning play date! Join us at Lisa's house for a discussion of "The Martian" by Andy Weir, a book about astronaut Mark Watney, who is stranded alone on Mars after his crew evacuates, believing him dead. The story follows his struggle to survive using his ingenuity, botany, and engineering skills to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles, all while documenting his experiences in log entries. All are welcome, even if you haven't started or finished the book.
