This walk is open to moms with children in strollers or moms with children in school that would like to get out for some socialization and exercise. If the weather doesn't cooperate we will reschedule for a different day.

Kitchen Gardening with Green Garden Mama

Join Carrie of Green Garden Mama for an introductory gardening class on Thursday, April 6th at 7pm, at Brewpoint Craft Elmhurst (617 N York Road, Elmhurst, IL). During this class we will discuss the key aspects to growing a successful garden including soil preparation, watering, plant selection and support, weed management, and harvest tips, then wrap up the session with a Q&A to discuss any specific concerns you might have about your own growing space. Romp & Rhyme and Library Playtime
Elmhurst Public Library 125 S Prospect Ave, Elmhurst, IL, United StatesRhymes, simple stories, and musical activities engage little ones and foster emerging language skills. Live in-person. Tickets available beginning at 9:00 a.m. the morning of the program. EPL card required. Best for babies thru early toddlers (ages 0-2/3). Takes place in the Kids Program Room. Stay after the program and head over to the Learning Garden to let the kids play while us moms socialize.
Spring Clothing Swap
Join us for our first EAM clothing swap! Bring your gently used women’s spring/summer clothing, shoes, and accessories and “shop” the closets of your friends and fellow EAM members while enjoying light bites and refreshments. It’s a fun, free, and eco-friendly way to refresh your wardrobe for the warmer weather ahead! **Recommended but not required to bring items to participate. **Please try to limit contributions to 15 items at maximum — quality over quantity! These should be items that are in good condition but maybe you find you don't wear them anymore. **Any remaining items will be donated to a local charity. **Maternity clothes are welcome! Please plan to drop off your items at Meghan K's house (440 E East Court) before April 11th to give us time to organize sizes/styles beforehand. A drop-off box will be on the porch starting April 5th. Special thanks to Allie Celada for hosting!
