Let's meet at the Prairie Path fountain on York Street and go for a walk. Moms without strollers are welcome too! We will end our walk with playtime at Pioneer Park.
Dress for some messy fun and come to the Kids’ Library and explore a variety of sensory stations with your toddler. Siblings welcome. For ages 1-3 w/adult.
Take some time to relax and reset at CorePower Yoga for a special candlelight class for EAM members! There is a 40 person limit for this event. Please write your name in the comment section; a waitlist will be started if we exceed 40 people. Cost for class is $10/person, paid in cash upon arrival at the studio. Towels, mats, and water are available for purchase or you can bring your own! *Class will be low heat, approx. 75-80 degrees*
Let's meet at the Elmhurst Public Library in the Large Meeting Room for Little Wigglers Storytime! Move and groove to active rhymes, songs and stories guaranteed to get the wiggles out. Best for ages 1-5.Tickets available beginning at 9am the morning of the program. EPL card required.
Let's have the little ones burn some energy at one of the most shaded playgrounds in Elmhurst - perfect for viewing the changing colors of the leaves and collecting acorns!
Join us at 7pm on Thursday, September 5th at Brewpoint Coffee at 617 N York Road, Elmhurst for a flower arranging workshop! Participants will select a vase, choose from a variety of fresh cut locally grown flowers, and create their own unique arrangment to bring home. We will discuss the basic mechanics needed to create a successful arrangement, best flower combinations, and how to care for your arrangement at home. Tickets are $49 per person. Get your costumes ready and bring the family to The Depot at Wild Meadows Trace for Safety Town trick-or-treating plus fall festivities! Free admission. Back this year - our Dog Costume Contest! Stop by the Elmhurst Park District tent near Safety Town to have a photo taken of your pet. Experience a Halloween tradition like no other! Join our community in the enchanting witches ride, where kiddos line the streets, eagerly awaiting the sight of witches soaring by, casting candy spells for all to catch and enjoy Elmhurst Witches, 21 and older, are invited to join the 3rd annual Elmhurst Witches Ride on Saturday, October 5th. We’ll meet in the parking lot of Berkshire Hathaway Prairie Path Realtors on Spring Rd at 3:30PM. The ride begins promptly at 4PM where the witches will ride through south/central Elmhurst while we toss candy to kids in the neighborhood along the route. Candy will be provided by Tom Muisenga with Berkshire Hathaway Prairie Path Realtors. We will end our route with some witches brew at Doc’s on Spring Rd. Plan to bike for about 45 minutes. Get as creative and festive as you’d like. Dressing up and/or decorating your broom (bike) isn't necessary but highly encouraged! Please share this and invite any other Elmhurst moms or ladies - the more the merrier. In addition to it being a fun night of meeting new friends, this a charitable event to help those in need in our community. More info coming soon… We hope to see you there!
