We’re kicking off our fall reading with The Mothers by Brit Bennett!  Join us at Emily’s house for an evening of connection, snacks, and book discussion as we dive into this thoughtful and beautifully written story.  The Mothers follows Nadia Turner, a rebellious teenager in a tight-knit Southern California church community, and explores friendship, love, secrets, and the choices that shape our lives. Told through the voices of the people who surround Nadia, the novel examines motherhood, faith, grief, and the lasting impact of the decisions we make when we’re young.  All are welcome, even if you haven't started or finished the book.
